McGinn and Company to Support SOME with Photo Campaign

McGinn and Company Corporate Partnership 2020 Photo Campaign AnnouncementThis week McGinn and Company launched their revamped Passions in America website. As part of the launch celebration, McGinn and Company have started a fun and meaningful campaign to inspire some smiles and a lot of good.

The idea is so simple: We are asking people—lots of people—to send us a photo of something that brings them joy during this pandemic. That’s it.

The photo can be of anything. Your pet in a silly pose. A favorite flower in your garden or a tree you pass on your hike. A dish you’ve prepared. A jigsaw puzzle you just completed—or not. A board game you’re playing with your family. A Lego model. A view from your window. The photo really can be anything that brings you a small measure of joy and relief and hope in these trying times.

The campaign is called “Photo. Forward. Feed.” Here’s how to participate:

  1. Take a photo of something that brings you joy.
  2. Forward it to McGinn and Company at Photos@PassionsInAmerica.com, and if you like, you can add a line or two describing why it’s important to you.
  3. For every person who sends a photo, McGinn and Company will make a $10 donation to help feed hungry families in the D.C. area.

We don’t know how many people will send us photos, but we hope it’s a lot! McGinn and Company are prepared to donate $25,000 to SOME. Every dollar donated can be leveraged into 2.5 meals. So, $25,000 dollars would produce 62,500 meals.

In addition to donating money, McGinn and Company plan to celebrate these photos on their website every day with the hope of spreading joy and a little inspiration. And while we know your children and grandchildren bring much joy to your lives, please know that they will not post photos of them on the website out of privacy concerns.

So please send a photo, and please encourage your friends and co-workers, and others to do so as well. As you share a little joy with us, McGinn and Company will extend the gift to those who need it the most.
