Capital Cocktails

Each year, SOME’s Young Professionals Network hosts its highly-anticipated cocktail reception. This year, join us for our rebranded event as we bring together the top mixologists from local distillers, bars, and restaurants to compete for the coveted titles of “Best Cocktail” and “Best Spirit Free Cocktail” in the District! We are also excited to move to our new home at the Capital Turnaround for the cocktail event of the year on June 2nd.

America’s Trot for Hunger 5K

Our annual gala welcomes over 1,000 supporters to celebrate our work, raise support for affordable housing, and honor our Fr. McKenna Humanitarian of the Year.

Young Professionals Network
Year-round networking, fundraising & development events for the next generation
The YPN provides emerging philanthropists with professional development and opportunities to invest their time, treasure and talent in an organization serving over 10,000 people each year. Our Network brings a for-profit rigor to the social impact experience, ensuring that members give confidently to SOME and in turn receive full access to an engaging donor experience.

Community Events
If you or your organization would like to host a community fundraising event to support SOME’s mission and work, please contact events@some.org. Our team is happy to assist with marketing materials, custom donation links, customized collateral, and giveaways, and more.
