Gather For Good

Connect, Contribute, And Create Impact

Nearly one in 10 DC residents lives with hunger or food insecurity daily, one in five lives at or below the poverty line, and over 5,000 people currently are homeless. By participating in SOME’s special events, you can invest directly in our comprehensive programs and break the cycle of poverty and homelessness in our area. We invite you to join your neighbors, local leaders, and fellow philanthropists in working together to ensure a better future for us all.

For questions about our events, please email events@some.org.

  • In May 2022, Wells Fargo and Levy Restaurants hosted SOME at the Wells Fargo Championship and designated SOME as the nonprofit beneficiary at the main concessions stand.
  • In late July of 2022, we volunteered at DC’s acclaimed and world-class Citi Open Tennis Tournament where we received a generous donation to continue our fight to prevent homelessness and poverty.
