SOME Also Provides for Seniors
11.1% of nearly 120,000 seniors in DC are currently food insecure. DC also has the highest rate of seniors facing the threat of hunger in the nation, at 20.1%.

More than 95% of Clients SOME Serves are from Historically Marginalized Communities
Food insecurity was higher among Hispanic (55%) and Black (50%) residents compared to white residents (13%).
