Grant Support SOME Place for Kids (SPFK) and Post-High School Initiatives

SOME is thrilled to feature our 15-year partnership with the Schoenbaum Family Foundation. The Schoenbaum Family Foundation’s longstanding support has helped SOME’s Family Services improve the lives of low-income youth through meaningful programming such as SOME Place for Kids (SPFK) and post-high school initiatives. Most recently, thanks to the Schoenbaum Family Foundation’s generosity, we ensured that 84 youth living in SOME affordable housing had access to impactful educational resources including tutoring, summer camp opportunities, and individualized planning for post-high school journeys. SOME was also able to convene more than 470 education advocacy sessions for youth and their parents/guardians to navigate barriers impeding academic success, provide youth with nutritious meals, and increase reading opportunities. In partnership, SOME and the Schoenbaum Family Foundation have effectively connected low-income youth with the tools and resources necessary to set them on course for a bright future. We are incredibly grateful for the Foundation’s support and look forward to another year of impactful partnership together.
