We are grateful to Capital One for seven incredible years of partnership. Through their generous support, SOME continues to expand financial security services for residents, including ongoing programming on financial trauma, credit repair, and debt management. Their investment has strengthened our ability to meet people where they are and provide tools that support long term stability and wealth building.
Capital One’s support also helped power special initiatives such as our Second Annual Financial Empowerment Fair, which engaged 121 participants in financial counseling and resource navigation. Events like this connect residents directly to trusted resources and practical strategies that can make an immediate difference in their financial wellbeing.
In addition, Capital One recently completed a pro bono project to enhance safety at SOME’s affordable housing facilities. Their team conducted comprehensive security and environmental design assessments and provided practical, people centered recommendations to strengthen safety for residents, staff, and visitors.
