SOME recently launched an exciting partnership with Audi of America through a service initiative at the Father John Adams Resource Center called Audi Takeover Day. More than 40 Audi employees joined the fight against hunger and poverty in Washington, DC by serving over 100 meals to SOME guests, restocking the community food pantry, and organizing the clothing room.
The Audi team also toured SOME’s medical clinic and O Street campus with our Senior Vice President of Community Outreach and Development. To wrap up the day, they assembled 250 snack kits for residents in SOME’s affordable housing programs and made a generous donation to help expand meal services.
We are deeply grateful for Audi’s partnership and look forward to the next chapter together. Their day of service is a shining example of how corporate groups can make a meaningful impact.
