At SOME, we are proud to stand alongside partners who believe in holistic, person-centered care—and few exemplify that commitment more than the Mitsui USA Foundation.
For years, the Foundation has supported SOME’s mission to serve the most vulnerable individuals and families in Washington, D.C., ensuring access to essential services that foster stability, dignity, and long-term health. In 2025, we are thrilled to announce that Mitsui USA has designated our dental clinic as a special area of focus.
This investment could not be more timely—or more important.
Oral health is deeply connected to overall well-being. It often reflects and impacts both physical and mental health, serving as a key indicator of conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and chronic stress. That’s why dental care is a cornerstone of SOME’s Whole Person Care model. For many of our clients, a visit to the dentist is not just about a filling or a cleaning—it’s a step toward healing, self-confidence, and improved quality of life.
Thanks to the generous support of the Mitsui USA Foundation, SOME’s dental clinic will be able to serve over 600 patients this year. That means more smiles restored, more pain relieved, and more lives changed.
We are deeply grateful for this continued partnership—and inspired by the shared belief that everyone, no matter their circumstances, deserves access to compassionate, high-quality care.
Here’s to many more years of impact and collaboration. Thank you, Mitsui USA Foundation, for helping us create healthier futures—one patient at a time.
