SOME’s Trot for Hunger got a spirited boost this month as local high school mascots laced up for a friendly “Mascot Dash,” featured on NBC4 Washington. The segment, “High School Mascots Rally to Fight Hunger and Homelessness,”highlighted how high schools across the region are joining forces to support SOME’s mission and build excitement for D.C.’s largest Thanksgiving Day 5K.
SOME unveils the Roberts Residences at 1515 North Capitol Street NE with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Spanning 92,000 square feet and rising 15 stories, the affordable housing development boasts 139 efficiencies and junior 1-bedroom apartments, complemented by amenities such as a computer lab, library, classrooms, a fitness room, and laundry facilities on each floor on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023 in Washington.
