Support Services

One of the unique aspects of the Center for Employment Training is our philosophy that in addition to technical skills, professional success is linked to stability in one’s personal life. Our Support Services team provides soft skills development, case management, behavior coaching and crisis intervention. In addition, the Support Services Manager is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is available as a resource to students in need of more intensive counseling or referral.

Coordination of Services

In the spirit of our holistic model, we work closely with partners, including government, non-profit and community based organizations, to support our trainees in addressing housing, medical care, mental health, financial, spiritual, family and legal matters. We seek to leverage appropriate referrals with the strengths and resources our clients already possess and assist them in developing new ones. With a client’s consent, SOME CET staff can communicate with external service providers to support clients’ overall well-being and success.
