SOME Named a Washington Post Top Workplace

We are honored to be a Washington Post Top Workplace for a third consecutive year. SOME was awarded a Top Workplaces designation based on feedback collected from staff through an anonymous survey. SOME ranked 31st out of 60 for mid-sized companies and scored above the benchmark for Non-profit Human and Social Services organizations.

The results of the survey indicate SOME’s greatest strengths are

Appreciation: Employees feel genuinely appreciated
Negativity: Employees feel little negativity in their culture
Execution: Employees think SOME is run efficiently and well

We received many positive responses from employees about how meaningful our work is and how we are making a difference in our community.  SOME employees are highly mission driven!
