Regular tutors help Paul and the more than 100 other children who participate in regular after-school programming at SOME's safe, affordable housing programs for families to hone their academic skills.

SOME Place for Kids
SOME Place for Kids is seeking energetic adults to tutor and mentor at-risk youth, ages 5-18. Volunteers will work with the child on homework assignments, skill development, and overall strengthening of academic areas where the child is challenged in school.

Tutors are responsible for creating fun and interactive activities that help the children learn with resources and support provided by the program staff. We are seeking tutors who can commit one hour per week for six months.
