Holiday Shoebox Gift Drive

This holiday season, we invite you to participate in SOME’s annual Holiday Shoebox Gift Drive.

Exchanging Holiday Shoeboxes at SOMEWe collect shoeboxes decorated for the holidays and brimming with essential items and gifts (see list below) for homeless or poor children, women and men.

Your gift boxes will be given out or delivered over the holidays to all who come to SOME for meals and services and to those who are residents in SOME’s housing.

We are particularly in need of shoebox gifts for men and women.

We are collecting shoeboxes through Thursday, December 8.

Please wrap or decorate your shoebox lids and box separately. On the lids, attach a list of the items included in the box (download the Shoebox Gift 2016 list), and label the box, “child,” “woman” or “man.”

To arrange a pick-up for large amounts of shoebox gifts, please contact our Donations Manager at 202.797.8806, ext. 2104 or [email protected].
