SOME Sustainers

SOME is pleased to offer a convenient and easy direct payment program that allows you to make a monthly contribution without having to write a check or submit a credit card transaction.

The Sustainer program allows you to instruct your bank or credit card company to send a monthly contribution directly to SOME. This makes it easier and less expensive for you to support SOME's work by eliminating the need to write and mail checks or credit card forms. You not only save on postage but the program also eliminates per-check bank fees. You could possibly earn bonus points with the use of your credit card as well.

Your monthly Sustainer gift also reduces SOME's administrative costs, so more of your contribution can go to our many programs serving the poor and homeless in Washington. The risk of a check being lost or delayed in the mail is eliminated, and your gift is transferred directly to SOME every month, guaranteed, and on time.

You will retain complete control over your monthly giving. If you should decide to increase, decrease or, for any reason, suspend your Sustainer gift, simply contact us at 202-797-8806, ext. 1008.

To get started, all you need to do is complete the SOME Sustainer Enrollment Form and mail it in along with a check or your credit card information. Transfers are made on the 5th business day of each month, and the first transfer from your checking or credit card account will be made within four to six weeks after we receive your enrollment form.

Your monthly gift will appear on your bank or credit card statement each month and, at the end of the year, you will receive an acknowledgement letter from SOME stating all your tax-deductible Sustainer gifts.

We think you will be delighted with the convenience of the Sustainer direct payment program, and be assured that we deeply appreciate your loyal and generous support of our work. If you have any further questions about the Sustainer program, please call us at 202-797-8806, ext. 1008.
