Course: The start and finish line is on Ohio Drive, SW between Independence Avenue, SW and West Basin Drive, SW in West Potomac Park. The course will follow south along Ohio Drive, across the Inlet Bridge to a turn around mid-way down Hains Point. Check out the SOME Trot for Hunger course map.

Course Safety: A first aid tent staffed by registered nurses will be available at the Start/Finish line. Police and race officials will be stationed along the course to ensure trotter safety. Bicycles, skateboards, and roller blades will not be permitted along the course. Dogs on leashes, baby joggers and strollers are welcome; however, they must remain on the right side of the course throughout.

First aid and medical assistance at Start/Finish line
Water stations at Start/Finish line and turn-around
Police and race officials stationed along the course
Port-a-johns at the Start/Finish line
