
Join Honorary Chair Mayor Adrian Fenty at SOME's 40th Anniversary Thanksgiving Day Trot for Hunger. A 5K timed run and untimed family fun walk, the Trot for Hunger helps SOME to provide more than 1,000 meals to hungry men, women and children each day. Held in West Potomac Park in Washington, DC, the Trot for Hunger starts at 8:30 am and is preceded by the Little Turkey One Mile Fun Run at 8:00 am.

Capital Sports presents its new Splash N' Dash race that will be held on Sunday, August 8.

On Friday, December 3, friends of SOME will gather for the 24th Annual Gala and Silent Auction to benefit SOME's affordable housing programs for the homeless. Chaired by Joanne and Bill Conway and Liz and Tom Donohue, the Gala will be held at the National Building Museum with Bob Schieffer as emcee.
