MetroCooking DC
December 9 – 10, 2017

Indulge in delicious bites from the Washington area’s finest restaurants at the 5th Annual Grand Tasting Pavilion! Over 50 local restaurants will showcase their culinary creations and provide decadent tastings of their cuisine. Explore unlimited samples from participating restaurants and vote on your favorite creation to crown Grand Tasting’s Best Bite. Don’t miss this great opportunity to experience DC food at its best. A portion of the proceeds from the Grand Tasting will benefit SOME!

 


DC Burger Battle
Thursday, August 24, 2017
6:00pm to 9:00pm

DC’s best burger makers have their grills going and you’re invited! Thursday, August 24th 6 to 9 pm at Hill Country Backyard Barbecue. Enjoy samples of the best burgers in the city from Due South, Hill Country Barbecue Market, Bullfeathers DC, Blackfinn DC, Stoney’s on L, The 201 Bar, DC Penn Quarter, Hard Rock Cafe Washington D.C., Rebellion DC, 10 Tavern, and vote for your favorite. Tickets are $25 and proceeds benefit SOME! 


Embassy Row’s Hotel Room Package

You can take a stay-cation or plan a trip to DC with Embassy Row Hotel and support SOME! Package includes: Overnight accommodations in one of our 231 boutique guest rooms or parlor suites, for each stay, one week of meals is donated to So Others Might Eat, a local organization that help homeless in D.C., and a SOME ceramic handmade bowl upon arrival. To learn more click here!


Station Kitchen & Cocktails Special of the Day

Station Kitchen & Cocktails  is introducing a new menu that highlights The Embassy Row Experience with a specialty food and cocktail menu that rotates monthly and is inspired by the international embassies found within the Embassy Row neighborhood. Each time you order a dish from the Embassy Row Experience, a portion of the proceeds is donated to SOME! You’ll notice this dish is always served in a special bowl. The bowl was commissioned and created by students at the Corcoran School of Art.
