Leading Authorities created this film to commemorate SOME's 40th Anniversary of service to the homeless. Including an interview with SOME President Fr. John Adams, the film describes SOME's comprehensive services for the homeless and poor and the organization's plans for the future. The film was first shown at SOME's 40th Anniversary Dinner Gala and Silent Auction.
In November 2007, SOME was honored to be chosen as a finalist for the Opus Prize. In addition to providing support for SOME's programs, the Opus Prize Foundation sponsored the creation of this video about SOME's services for the homeless and poor. The video provides an overview of SOME's Continuum of Care, which begins in the Dining Room and includes medical care, job training and affordable housing.
Since 1980, low income seniors from Washington, DC have been treated to a week of vacation at SOME's Senior Summer Camp. Held in beautiful West Virginia, Summer Camp features a variety of activities and ample opportunities for relaxation.
