"My name is Stephanie Gudger and I am a resident of Barnaby House. I love the fact that everyone that’s there, we’re just one big family. We’re always together. We always have activities at Barnaby House, every day, even for the kids.

I just love the atmosphere of being there. I feel safe. My case manager, Ms. Rachel, she’s always there helping us and giving us resources. She helps me with my budget. She helps us set goals every six months so that we can accomplish things and keep things going.

I had a goal of cleaning up my credit, I said I was going clean up my credit, and I said I was going to lose 25 pounds, and I said I was going to pay two months of rent up. And I did that in six months."
